PRICING

 

Trusts - $600.00

 

When you request Legal Choices to prepare a trust for you, you will need to complete a questionnaire so that your wishes and desires can be put into the trust.  

 

When Legal Choices prepares your trust, you automatically will receive the pour-over Will, Power of Attorney for Health and Power of Attorney for Finance.

 

Guardianship - $700.00

 

In the event you would like to take Guardianship of a minor child, Legal Choices will prepare and file on your behalf all of the complicated documents and serve those documents on the required family members.

 

Step-Parent Adoption - $400.00

 

Legal Choices will prepare for you all of the step-parent adoption papers, file them with the court and serve all required documents on your behalf.  

 

When there is a Step-Parent Adoption all family members will be required to participate in a Health and Human Services Investigation and to pay their fee.  This Investigation usually takes place at the Health & Human Services office.  Health & Human Services will write a report to the Judge and made a part of your file.  

 

Step-Parent Adoptions are sealed documents and therefore in the event Legal Choices needs a document from the file, you will be required to obtain that document as Legal Choices is barred from doing this.

 

Adult Adoption - $150.00

 

In some cases an adult wishes to be adopted by their stepparent after emancipation.  The current filing fee with the court is $20.00.  

 

Name Change - $150.00

 

Legal Choices will prepare all of the required documents, ensure your matter is published as required by the Court and prepare for you the final Order of a Name Change.

 

When you have a prior divorce or legal separation, you can change your name for a $25.00 fee.

 

When you are going through a divorce and want to change your name, you can accomplish this through your divorce paperwork and there is no fee
